Seek Truth
Examine What I Say
Matthew 7:21–23 · KJV
Correct language is not the same as surrendered living.
Does what I profess agree with how I live?
Wisdom Participation · I Never Knew You
The warning in Matthew 7 turns the examination inward. Move from profession and activity toward relationship, obedience, and transformation.
The goal is not fear for fear’s sake. The warning should lead to truth and transformation.

Find Wisdom
Matthew 7:21–23 · KJV
The people in Matthew 7 point to prophecy, deliverance, and wonderful works. Their résumé is impressive. Jesus’ response concerns relationship.
Have I mistaken activity for intimacy?
Reflect Deeply
Move beyond, Do I know about Jesus? Ask instead, Does Jesus know me?
What does my relationship look like when there is nothing to perform, accomplish, prove, or receive?
Reflect Deeply
The examination should ultimately produce action.
Is following Christ changing how I live, obey, forgive, love, speak, choose, and respond?
Take Action
Choose one area where your profession and practice do not fully agree. Name it honestly.
Choose one specific action within the next seven days that moves what you profess closer to how you actually live.
The goal is not fear for fear’s sake. The warning should lead to truth and transformation.
What would obedience look like here?
Continue your journey
